Maybe meeting the daughter of a saint (Gianna) whose name she shares caused the tumor to shrink.

This is frightening after the Gospel for the last Sunday after Pentecost (Matt. 24, 15-35). That gospel describes some of the things that will come about at THE END. When the anti-Christ is near we will see: “…for there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect.”

Are we going to see more of these miracles? I think that will be the last straw…surely some Bishop or Cardinal will have to speak up? Not just ‘nice’ stuff, but screaming from the rooftops: This Pope must be stopped!

my husband and I have been saying this for months, jokingly. i found out rather quickly that i couldn’t make up stuff fast enough about francis before it would come true.

Why not? The canonization process, with its rigid rules and investigations, is just one of those outdated judgmental forms people need to get over. They’ve gotten rid of most of it already anyway. If the best people to decide on John Paul II’s sanctity were his close personal friends and associates, then who better to judge Francis’s sanctity than Francis himself?
