Err… I thought “our common home” is heaven

Immaculate Heart of Mary – intercede for us, poor sinners

Our good friend Maria Joanna Madise, the director of Voice of the Family (the faithful lay organisation that drove the Synod Manipulators nuts) comments:

“The rehearsal of this ‘light show’ on St Peter’s square is one of the most chilling things I have seen recently. Light of the World Bank illuminating the Basilica in darkness.”

The Catholic Church, founded to shed the light of Christ on the world, has quite literally invited the world to shed its light on her. On December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception as well as the opening of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, Pope Francis has allowed climate-change partisans and population-control advocates to project a light show onto the façade and cupola of Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome — the most important church in the Catholic world — so as to “inspire change around the climate crisis.”

A press release says…

The show titled “Illuminating Our Common Home” will project onto St. Peter’s “images of our shared natural world” in order to “educate and inspire change around the climate crisis across generations, cultures, languages, religions and class,” states a press release about the event put out by one of the sponsors.

The Vatican’s spokesperson for the event, Archbishop Rino Fisichella, [which Fisichella is that? Oooooohhh yes! I knew his name rang a bell…] the president of the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization, called the event “unique…for its genre and for the fact that it is being displayed for the first time on such a significant backdrop.”

“These illuminations will present images inspired of Mercy, of humanity, of the natural world, and of climate changes,” Fisichella said.

Frankly, I think we’re past trying to demonstrate that this pope and his creatures are still even incidentally interested in Catholicism. I think it’s time we were just praying, and desperately, for the mitigation of the coming chastisement…

Most glorious Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, turn thine eyes in pity upon us, miserable sinners; we are sore afflicted by the many evils that surround us in this life, but especially do we feel our hearts break within us upon hearing the dreadful insults and blasphemies uttered against thee, O Virgin Immaculate. O how these impious sayings offend the infinite Majesty of God and of His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ! How they provoke His indignation and give us cause to fear the terrible effects of His vengeance! Would that the sacrifice of our lives might avail to put an end to such outrages and blasphemies; were it so, how gladly we should make it, for we desire, O most holy Mother, to love thee and to honor thee with all our hearts, since this is the will of God. And just because we love thee, we will do all that is in our power to make thee honored and loved by all men. In the meantime do thou, our merciful Mother, the supreme comforter of the afflicted, accept this our act of reparation which we offer thee for ourselves and for all our families, as well as for all who impiously blaspheme thee, not knowing what they say. Do thou obtain for them from Almighty God the grace of conversion, and thus render more manifest and more glorious thy kindness, thy power and thy great mercy. May they join with us in proclaiming thee blessed among women, the Immaculate Virgin and most compassionate Mother of God.

Hail Mary three times.

The institutional Church. Not the supernatural Church.

Satan is laughing with glee. Satanic pantheistic, eugenicist NWO totalitarian propaganda from Holy St Peter’s to the whole world.

The big satanic conspiracy is true and no longer hiding. Motus in fine Velocior.

    Good book.

It used to be that the Church would educate and inspire people across “generations, cultures, languages, and class,” to find the one true religion under Christ the King. The unifying focus was Truth and the worship of God.

Now the Church is being prostituted in order to “educate and inspire” people to find common cause in the dubious question of climate change. Religion, Truth and the worship of God have become matters of indifference, subordinated to the political interests of merchants and money-lenders – all done in the very place that symbolizes the heart of the Church.

“It is written: My house is the house of prayer. But you have made it a den of thieves. ” Jesus, have mercy on Your poor Church and the faithful, and once again cast out the money-changers from your temple!

I’m not given to prophecies or conspiracy theories but this most recent sacrilege plastered across St. Peter’s Basilica, of all places, totally brings to mind “Lord of the World” by Fr. Hugh Benson.

“Francis has killed what was left of the RC Church”
    No. He hasn’t.

  9. Lynda says:

No, this is the NWO One World Dictatorship’s propaganda for its serfs. It’s an announcement that it has taken over the Catholic Church.

  10. Lynda says:

Flagrantly emblazoning the New One World Idolatrous Tyrannical religion across the icon of the Chair of Peter. Rome has apostatised.

One of the pictures looks like it was of a bunch of buddhist monks! Where are the Cardinals and Bishops on this sacrilege?
I agree that this event has shaken me to the core more than anything else thus far.
This pope behaves like the “pope” in the End Times books!

I’m curious to know just how deeply the Vatican is compromised. I doubt it is any less than what we see in the world governments, with so many of them kowtowing to a select few (“the establishment”) who wield their influence through bribes and blackmail.

This isn’t just stupidity and naivete on display, after all. In the aggregate, people usually act from rational motives: money, power, etc.

Gaston: “What do you mean, ‘common’? Ordinary common, or coarse common?”
    Gigi: Ordinary. (Pause) AND coarse!

The people running this pontificate probably see this stunt as a twofer — on the
one hand, they get the positive attention they crave from the cool kids (a.k.a. the
leftist secular elites), and on the other hand they get to stick a thumb in the eye
of the tradition-loving Catholics they not-so-secretly despise.

I think Vatican II is the chastisement, where most of the hierarchy will lead the faithful into hell with false teachings. Didn’t Israel apostatize from the faith under the watch of the high priests and Levites?

Francis has killed what was left of the RC Church.

  17. Steven Cornett says:

Even the title of the “environmental encyclical” is back-to-front, since the world and man are created for God, but in different ways. The Church is man’s common home from his rebirth in Baptism, entering him into the Church Militant, to his entry into the Church Triumphant for those who preserve to the end.

As the fathers of the Church have said, the world was created for the sake of the Church, which gives the placement of the world as “our common home” sound pantheistic by making no distinction between man and any other animal, much less than the hierarchical distinction between the world and the Church.

How perfect that cheap, tawdry Hollywood theatrics comes to the aid of a pontificate that has seemingly lost its marbles.

I’m just about done. I don’t think anything has shaken me through all this as this light display has.

Good Lord, he’s turned St Peter’s into something like one of those educational/environmental rides at Disney World’s Epcot! I had thought for certain this was a parody…

I think this is an abomination!

  22. Maggie says:

There is little to no concern for the salvation of souls showing in the modernist regime in the Vatican. Rather the persecution of the faithful continues… This is indeed one of the means of chastisement.

  23. rosearbor says:

God, how appalling — it’s unimaginable, which is what the projection of rainbow colors on the White House was — until it happened. But for St. Peter’s to be used this way is the unimaginable taken to a level that is at a quantum remove even from that. You are so right — we have indeed moved past trying to demonstrate that Francis and his creatures are still even incidentally interested in Catholicism. Have mercy on us all, dear God.

  24. Aaron Baugher says:

Agreed. I don’t even know what to say anymore; it’s like trying to convince people the sun rises in the east. It wouldn’t be any clearer if they painted “Down with Catholicism” on that wall. If people can’t see it for themselves at this point, what possible additional evidence could do it? All that’s left is to pray.

  25. thetimman says:

Amen to that. I would like to post that prayer, too, if you don’t mind.
