It’s not about marriage; it’s a purge

Some time ago, just before the opening of Synod 1, someone more or less laid out what the Church was going to look like when they were done. This pontificate is the End Game of the whole Revolution that has been in constant forward motion, with almost no brake, since 1965 in the institutions of the Church. They know, and we know, that they’re almost done.

“Many Catholics are making the mistake of thinking this [the entire Synod process since the Consistory of 2014] is an attack on marriage. No. This is an assault on the very foundations of the Faith itself: the Eucharist and the priesthood.

“Once this principle is in place, that doctrine is irrelevant and practice can be whatever the winds of the world, or fashion or feelings or personal preference dictate, absolutely nothing in the Church is safe. It will first destroy the priesthood, and then end the Eucharistic belief of the Church. After that, we know that nothing will survive. Not the teachings on the sanctity of life, the Marian dogmas, popular piety or devotions or any of the practices, traditions, doctrines or dogmas that form the deposit of the Faith itself.

“The priesthood would be the first relic of the old Faith to be effectively destroyed. A decision to allow divorced and civilly ‘remarried’ Catholics to receive Holy Communion would, for example, logically spell the end of the return to orthodoxy among young priests and seminarians that has grown so much a feature of Catholic life in recent decades.”

Simply put, and in point form, it’s a Purge.

Make it a requirement that the Faithful, from bishops to priests to laity, may not refuse the systematic desecration of the Holy Eucharist
– make it very, very difficult for even the bravest and most orthodox bishops to dissent from the programme
– make it impossible for priests to act individually to defend the Eucharist
– make it impossible for seminarians to maintain the doctrines of the Faith while in the seminary
– make it impossible for seminarians to be ordained who are unwilling to desecrate the Eucharist
– make it impossible for lay faithful who refuse to participate in the desecration of the Eucharist to remain in their parishes.

All sacrilege. Just more down the hole.

Has not been going on for decades with Holy Eucharist being given to public supporters of sodomy and baby murder. Adulter, sodomite supporter, child killer. Difference?

You are unquestionably correct in your appraisal of the situation. With the publication of the letter to Monsignor Sergio Alfredo Fenoy, explicitly clarifying the pernicious ambiguity of “Amoris Laetitia,” the entire situation has been illuminated for what it actually is.
The question now is how long responsible and orthodox members of the curia, the hierarchy, and the ordained are going to down the codswallop and allow the laity to be led off the cliff.
Where is the fortitude? Where and when is the corrective?
It is sacrilege. It is scandal of the highest order.

–Make it impossible to so much as protest the systematic desecration of the Holy Eucharist and the unspeakable devastation that will follow from it, because if the Pope Himself says it’s OK, then who are you to judge?

A correct analysis of the crisis in the Church. There’s one consolation, which is that this that while the Modernists are destroying the Church, a renewed Church is emerging in the SSPX and similar traditionalist movements. A day will come when the SSPX will become stronger and better organized than the Vatican.

Did it ever occur to you that Catholicism is NOT a denomination? The Catholic Church is the one true Church established by Christ. The offshoots of Catholicism are heretics (most of whom don’t realize they are heretics). Spare us the new age “a more enlightened and humane stage of spirituality and ethics.” Go sell it to the Unitarians. They’ll accept pretty much anything.
Spot on, Hillary. I’m beginning to think SSPX may be the only answer for my son who is being called to the priesthood, unless we get an amazing pope in the next couple of years.

Hilary, I have always known that the endgame is destroying belief in the Holy Eucharist. The Holy Roman Catholic Church is where the fullness of the Faith is upheld. It will not be Rome, but underground. There will be very few of the external comforts which nourish one’s Faith, but there will be, in that underground Church, the true Sacraments and the primacy of the Holy Eucharist, Who will be adored and LOVED by those who truly believe in Him . Only those who have steeped themselves in deep intimacy with the Holy Eucharist will be able to withstand the pressure and power of the apostasy which will be ruling from Rome. This is why humble prayer on a daily basis, in which God lovingly shows each of us the specific ways we each do not yet fully belong to Him, is so necessary. No halfhearted responses to God will be enough. Either one will belong completely to Christ or one will belong to the Kingdom of evil . Without the supernatural discernment and the strength of God’s grace, one will not be able to weather the wiles of the evil one. Anyone who does not realize this reality is going to fall into the snares of apostasy. Human intelligence, human strength and human perception will be easily mastered by the devil. A good start for anyone who understands this would be consecration to our Blessed Mother. She is leading God’s army and her protection is vital, and I mean vital. Let us unite our prayers for souls and for God’s Church.

But Hilary, the faithful will just let the suicidal liberalists drown in their own demonic vapour, while they themselves form their own catacombs. That is where The Messiah will find those still living while the cities and churches will have crumbled. Unlike Newtemplar, I am inclined to think the AntiChrist is already on the earth. Folks get out your Catechism of the Catholic Church and read #675 to 682. Stay well Hilary. Must look for more of your writings of the village area where you live…hope it is still peaceful for you even if you are feeling the quake under the Church. We have precious, hard working, traditional priests increasing in numbers all over the world. Deo Gratias.

This kind of talk reminds me of the prophecy of St. Francis of Assisi.

“Act bravely, my Brethren; take courage, and trust in the Lord. The time is fast approaching in which there will be great trials and afflictions; perplexities and dissensions, both spiritual and temporal, will abound; the charity of many will grow cold, and the malice of the wicked will increase.

“The devils will have unusual power, the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who will obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity. At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavour to draw many into error and death.

“Then scandals will be multiplied, our Order will be divided, and many others will be entirely destroyed, because they will consent to error instead of opposing it.

“There will be such diversity of opinions and schisms among the people, the religious and the clergy, that, except those days were shortened, according to the words of the Gospel, even the elect would be led into error, were they not specially guided, amid such great confusion, by the immense mercy of God.

“Then our Rule and manner of life will be violently opposed by some, and terrible trials will come upon us. Those who are found faithful will receive the crown of life; but woe to those who, trusting solely in their Order, shall fall into tepidity, for they will not be able to support the temptations permitted for the proving of the elect.

“Those who preserve their fervour and adhere to virtue with love and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and, persecutions as rebels and schismatics; for their persecutors, urged on by the evil spirits, will say they are rendering a great service to God by destroying such pestilent men from the face of the earth. But the Lord will be the refuge of the afflicted, and will save all who trust in Him. And in order to be like their Head [Jesus Christ], these, the elect, will act with confidence, and by their death will purchase for themselves eternal life; choosing to obey God rather than man, they will fear nothing, and they will prefer to perish [physically] rather than consent to falsehood and perfidy.

“Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor, but a destroyer.”

  19. @FMShyanguya says:

Insightful connection you have made between the Holy Eucharist and Holy Orders. The obvious sacraments under attack by the Kaper’s proposal are Marraige, Penance/Confession/Reconciliation, and the Holy Eucharist. This excellent article Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen on Judas | CFN points out that a priest begins to be lost whenever he begins to lose his faith in the Eucharist. An obvious conclusion is then that the supporters of the Kasper’s proposal have lost faith in the Eucharist, and all the more sad it is if such a person is a priest. Yes, it is the whole Church the innovators are after. I have commented on 1P5 that perhaps the consistency of Pope Francis has been his attack on ALL of the sacraments.

Ye gods and little goldfish! You’ve been spending way too much time with the fundiegelicals. Did it ever occur to you that, rather than being in a state of “apostasy”, the Roman Catholic denomination of Christianity is, instead, evolving into a more enlightened and humane stage of spirituality and ethics as intended by God’s plan?

  21. Evangeline1031 says:

Discerning spirits know we are in end times. It has to be. What an amazing time to be alive, to be a Catholic. PF is a nightmare, if one loves the Catholic church and the faith at all. I am astounded though, at how few seem to understand the damage he has already caused.
If this goes on and on, I’m talking years, it is going to lead to a massive crisis of faith for many people, and I may have to include myself in that number, as much as I hate to admit it. But the level of blasphemy, sacrilege, attacks on the faith, life, culture, children, the amount of pure evil we are encountering, at some point to see it go on, would precipitate internal conflict.
Or maybe that’s just me. Maybe that’s because a big part of me is hoping and praying for Gabriel to blow that horn and to see Jesus coming down on the clouds of great glory!

  22. Newtemplar says:

The purposed disintegration and dismantling of the Faith has been going on for some time now and I am curious to see how things play out as my role as a layman excludes me from kicking as much clerical butt as I would like. The Catechism of the Council of Trent states that there are three signs whereby we can know that we live in the end times. One, the Gospel will have been preached throughout the world. The second sign is a mass apostasy from the Faith. I find it difficult to think that the Church can recover before the third sign – the appearance of the anti Christ. We shall see but it is certainly a time for bullheadedness with regard to defending and adhering to the Faith.
