What’s Up With The Norcia Earthquake?

Hello. One of Hilary’s site admins here.

Hilary and friends are ok, but can’t go home – Norcia is severely damaged. They’ve evacuated to Rome, with the kitties, until damage can be evaluated and repairs begun.

The devastation is heartbreaking. Please keep them in your prayers!

Oh Hilary!! Prayers coming your way, for you & everyone! Blessed Mother, help them. St. Michael, protect them.

I don’t have a PayPal acct nor do I want one. How else can people send you monetary help? I didn’t see any option to use PayPal but not open an acct.

    Keep safe~ Andrea

Can we donate via Paypal off the Orwell’s Picnic blogsite? There’s a yellow Donate button there, but none that I see on the What’s Up With …blogsite.

Prayers to Padre Pio, St Therese, St Anthony, OL of Good Success In Ecuador (did I get that right?). Anyway, lots of prayers and a bit of assistance. I pray that life, and Norcia, can be rebuilt.

  12. Eliza says:

Thanks – I’ve been worried. This is a horrible experience even if nobody is physically injured.

Many houses in my town were recently destroyed or made unlivable by a hurricane-driven flood, and even though we all survived, things will never be the same for many of us. This could be good or it could be bad, but it’s not going to be easy in any case. Prayers for everybody in Norcia and that whole region.

Thank you for letting us know! Prayers for recovery and rebuilding. Norcia is alas a microcosm of the devastation Bergoglio is inflicting on the Church at large!
