“Even if there were ‘no prince, no prophet, no sacrifice’, still Jesus Christ would be with His people, yes, even unto the End of Time, to the consummation of all the ages, because those who believe in Him, those who worship Him, those who uphold His Teachings, they are the Catholic Church.”

 

Let us examine just one, among the plethora…

Exactly 33 years to the day prior to the great Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, that is, on October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII had a remarkable vision. When the aged Pontiff had finished celebrating Mass in his private Vatican Chapel, attended by a few Cardinals and members of the Vatican staff, he suddenly stopped at the foot of the altar. He stood there for about 10 minutes, as if in a trance, his face ashen white. Then, going immediately from the Chapel to his office, he composed the above prayer to St. Michael, with instructions it be said after all Low Masses everywhere.

When asked what had happened, he explained that, as he was about to leave the foot of the altar, he suddenly heard voices – two voices, one kind and gentle, the other guttural and harsh. They seemed to come from near the tabernacle. As he listened, he heard the following conversation:

The guttural voice, the voice of Satan in his pride, boasted to Our Lord: “I can destroy your Church.”

The gentle voice of Our Lord: “You can? Then go ahead and do so.”

Satan: “To do so, I need more time and more power.”

Our Lord: “How much time? How much power?

Satan: “75 to 100 years, and a greater power over those who will give themselves over to my service.”

Our Lord: “You have the time, you will have the power. Do with them what you will.”

Think: Synod on the Family, attacks on the Universality of the Church, national churches, indissolubility of marriage called into question, Holy Communion for those in unrepentant mortal sin, changing the ‘language’ of the Church so that wrong is no longer wrong, sin no longer sin, no call for true repentance, ‘reformers’ setting off the time bombs that Satan has given to the minds of his human agents, who, in his diabolic pride, he thinks will bring down and destroy the Catholic Church.

Think: How could Satan possibly think he could destroy God’s Holy Catholic Church? How? What devious plan did the Prince of Darkness have in his mind? It would be impossible for Satan to think he could destroy Jesus Christ’s Church without reaching the visible Head on Earth.

Only the Pope can ‘destroy the Church’ because only the Pope has the global authority as visible Head on Earth to effect lasting change.

Only the Pope, in all his authority, even should he abuse it, could possibly convince people that Divine truth can be twisted to become a human lie and that Jesus’s Teachings had become irrelevant to modern man.

Only the Pope can enact those sweeping and terrifying reforms that are being proposed at the Synod, the goal, be it known to him or unknown, is the destruction of the Faith. This generation is witness to the ultimate fruition of the Devil’s plans to destroy the Catholic Church through the only human agents, a Pope and Bishops, who can actually do the work of destruction itself, but he will not succeed.

Were the Catholic Church to be reduced to a tiny flock of Faithful who kept the flame of Faith in Christ alive and passed it down to the next generation, there would be the Catholic Church, even if godless men took all Her buildings, razed all Her sanctuaries to the ground, threw Her faithful priests onto the streets, sold off her art, ripped Crucifixes from every Church in every land, emptied the Mass of Our Eucharistic Lord, embraced paganism, or re-wrote or edited the entire Bible to their liking and pleased only the world.

Whatever monstrous outrages godless men within the Church commit against the Bride of Christ, She cannot be destroyed. This we hold as an infallible truth.

Even if there were ‘no prince, no prophet, no sacrifice’, still Jesus Christ would be with His people, yes, even unto the End of Time, to the consummation of all the ages, because those who believe in Him, those who worship Him, those who uphold His Teachings, they are the Catholic Church. God will raise up princes. God will raise up prophets. God will provide priests so that there is still the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The Catholic Church can never be destroyed! Satan can destroy the Church as much as he can destroy God. We trust in the goodness of the Lord.

We trust that God’s mercy will ensure that the Faith is kept, pure, undiluted and entire by the men and women who will, come persecution, or come peace, preserve it and proclaim it. Were Satan’s agents sent to hunt down and kill Christians worldwide, new Christians would be born from the blood of the martyrs! Let heretics take Her buildings, but we are God’s building, the Mystical Body of Christ. The Church and Jesus Christ are one. Insofar as Satan can destroy Jesus Christ, can he destroy the Church. Christ has conquered, Christ is Victorious, no matter what this Synod decides, no matter what happens in its wake.  God will never abandon His people for He is wedded us as Bridegroom to His Bride.

Let Satan do his worst.
