From a short essay on the new clericalism of the “progresssives”.

The description of their vaunted opinion of themselves was what I thought was funny.

This is what these people think an “adult Church” looks like.

And this is their idea of a “mature people of God”. (The geezer offering this appalling grotesquerie was my bishop when I was growing up, btw. He’s why there isn’t really any Catholicism left worth the name on Vancouver Island.)

 

How about a little more adulthood?

“Maturity” (Well, in one sense, I guess…)

Yep. Some serious rigidity going on there. Gotta get that stamped out reeeeel guuuuud.
