NOPE. Ain’t gonna. Can’t make me.
What, you think I’m new at this? You think I’m going to write about what I think is coming?
Ha!
But we can make it like a game. See if you can put it together for yourselves…
Item 1:
Pope Francis to Eugenio Scalfari:
“The diverse opinion of the bishops is part of this modernity of the Church and of the diverse societies in which she operated, but the goal is the same, and for that which regards the admission of the divorced to the Sacraments, [it] confirms that this principle has been accepted by the Synod.

“Divine Mercy” – the Sacred Heart, without the Heart…
Trads generally shy away from new Bright Ideas in their devotional life. It’s just a handy rule of mine, (I can’t remember the numbering, but it might be number four or five after “Never Join Anything” and “Never Found Anything…”) that anything proposed for the devotion of the faithful that is less than 500 years old is suspect at best. The Church is jam-packed with devotions and all manner of things that will help you get to heaven that are all older than 500 years.

I know you are, but what am I?
“So that faith can exist it needs the evidence of the empty tomb. It is necessary like Peter and John to lose one’s own artificial certainties; then you will have the courage to enter into the void. It is necessary that we find the courage to enter into the “grave of God,” which we built as the alleged possession of the truth. The faith in the resurrection [sic] in and with Christ is the basis for the emptiness of ourselves.

And I was having such a nice Easter holiday…
So, I spent most of the time during Easter Week, that I didn’t spend with my nice friends or in Church, re-binging on the last two seasons of Stargate SG1, which is one of my most favouritest shows evah!
It was great! Really bad bad guys, really cool space ships, plenty of gun fights, loads of funny jokes, lots of big explosions… the best!
And lemme tell you, the Pope Francis Show can’t hold a candle to it.

A girl takes a few days off and all desolation breaks out: The Joy of Luuuuuurrrrrvvvve
Well, we know the title now, at least, and the date.
And the memes have already begun.
And one of the things they’re reminding us of, that it is good for us Old People to remember and the young folk to learn, is just how gross and awful the ’70s really were…
…and hirsute…
…and I can say authoritatively, from my own memories, how unwashed.
~
In case there are readers too young to remember, however, I am happy to fill in the punchline.

You might not take it seriously, but they sure do
Brussels jihad murderers plotted Easter church massacres in the UK
How much worse is it going to get?
This much worse._
“It very much appears that the Belgian airport bombers wanted radioactive material for a dirty bomb, or even (possibly) to cause a Chernobyl-style meltdown at a Belgian reactor complex only an hour’s drive South-East from Brussels.
“Observant officials got suspicious, so the terrorists scattered, and ran with the airport plan, but it also looks like they had inside help at the nuclear plant.

I betrayed Him… Mother, it was me!
And I abandoned Him. I denied Him. I scourged Him. I nailed Him up.
Mother, it was me.
Ann will tell you…
Jesus went through His entire life on earth completely in love with every single person. Every person He saw or passed on the street He had known from all eternity; He had created that person atom-by- atom accordingly in the fullness of time; He had intimate knowledge of that person’s every thought, desire and deed; He was infinitely in love with that person.

Quiet day for us; busy day for Him
We wait. That’s all there is to do. We aren’t in charge and today, it’s not about us.

In fact, its GREAT! It’s progress! It’s “development of doctrine”! It’s a throwing off of “outdated” ways of “being Church” (or whatever it is you people say)…
