Father P. explains it all to you: What is “adultery” and why is it bad?
Dear heretics,
Let’s have some clarity.
I’ll try to keep it simple so the Vatican prelates lurking on the site can understand.
Adultery: marital infidelity.
When two partners, of whom at least one is married to another party, have sexual relations – even transient ones – they commit adultery. Christ condemns even adultery of mere desire. The sixth commandment and the New Testament forbid adultery absolutely. The prophets denounce the gravity of adultery; they see it as an image of the sin of idolatry… **Divorce: a grave offense against the natural law.

One trick pope
Apparently, when you’ve been trained to repeat the same Jesuitical blather every time you open your mouth, every single damn thing in the universe becomes “an exhortation to believers to overcome every form of individualism and legalism which conceals a narrow self-centredness and a fear of accepting the true meaning of” whatever the hell we’re talking about right now.
Yeah… legalism. Every single thing in the Church is about “legalism” and being “too rigid” and too legalistically rigid…

Journalists face starvation: appeal to pope for aid
I think I expected this.
The busy little bees in Rome are making it so that very time we step away from the computer to get something to eat or get some exercise and fresh air…
Perhaps the biggest threat the writers and editors of this site face is starvation.
With gazillions of journalists, activists and colleagues in Rome to cover the whole thing, the biggest problem is not going to be getting information.

It’s Sunday!
What are you doing looking at the internet?
Go to church.
Then go for a walk.
Don’t worry. You won’t miss anything. The end of the world will still be happening tomorrow.

Trust us, we know what we’re doing…
Voice of the Family
“At this morning’s press conference Cardinal Baldisseri reassured journalists that there was no need to be concerned about allegations that the synod would be manipulated because a committee of ten would oversee the proceedings. He then announced that the membership of the committee would include himself and Archbishop Forte.
In other words, the committee which is supposed to give us confidence that no manipulation is taking place includes the very men most implicated in the manipulation.

This goes in one ear and out the other
A year ago, someone told me that the whole thing was going to dissolve down into a big homo-hoedown…
… and for some reason that completely escapes me right now, I was skeptical.
Can’t imagine what I was thinking…
Cardinal Kasper Gears Up for Vatican Synod: ‘You Are Born Gay’
In his book, released to coincide with the opening of the synod, the Cardinal deals with a number of hot-button issues, such as homosexuality.

Gay Priest Commits Unforgivable Sin (No, not that sin, silly!)
So by now you have likely heard of the “coming out” of a long-employed priest at the CDF. That priest announced he was gay and proud, called on the Church to change Her immutable teaching and called for a presser today.
Outrage!! All Francis’ Fault!! Ummm, well not so much Pope Francis’s fault.
Monsignor Krzystof Charamsa has worked at the CDF since 2003. Err. That makes this Pole a JPII appointment.

A Site for All Things Synod, by Hilary White and Friends
The real meat and potatoes of Hilary and Company’s journalistic efforts will be seen once the Synod is in full swing. And about that meat: It may be a bit rare, as the journalists in question are not concerned about overly-cautious editors. […Yep…] They will call it as they see it.
While naming names and disclosing the twisted machinations of modernists like Cardinal Kasper and his fellow travelers is a good thing, let us not be tempted to consider this only a war of words.
