Pathological Irony-Impairment Syndrome
This just in from the Tablet...
for today’s belly laugh of horror…
From the editor’s desk
**Francis must put his foot down
** 06 July 2016
“Shortly before Christmas 2014 Pope Francis told members of the Roman Curia that they often suffered from ‘the pathology of power,’ which produced a ‘superiority complex’ [HOLY CARPFISH!!!]. Such blunt statements from a chief executive might be followed by a shake-up of head office manpower – there are virtually no women involved, which may be part of the problem [BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAA… Anyone ever worked with these institutionalized Catholic feminist jack-booters?

A tale of two churches…
One of them, told by an idiot, full of blasphemy and heresy, signifying nothing…
**“The Pope goes beyond the categories
of regular and irregular couples
looking to persons”**
They really love this “goes beyond” stuff, don’t they? Remember what happened to Nietzsche when he tried to go “beyond good and evil”? Yeah; went nuts and died raving in an insane asylum. It’s what happens when you try to encompass the nihilistic anti-rational principle.

Let’s play the pope game!
Well well, hasn’t it been an interesting week! Sorry for my absence here. I’ve actually started a new and very positive project and because it’s so fun and is working so well, I’m afraid I’ve kind of neglected y’all here.
But we’re back today with another fun round of our favourite game…
Connect the Pope Francis Dots to Figure Out What’s Actually Happening! Today’s contestant is the Catholic archbishop of Paraiba, Brazil, Aldo di Cillo Pagotto, who got the heave-ho today.

Feel free to pile on…
Having a bit of fun over on Twitter…
At least one thing is accomplished by this kind of mendacious hit-piece (as opposed to the truthful kind you get from us). It is demonstrating my theory that Francis is having a positive effect on the discourse. No one can now deny that the false distinction between “conservatives” and “liberals” in the novusordo Church is and always has been meaningless.
@NCRegister So, does the Register share Shimek's eagerness to see faithful Catholics "

All hands brace for impact!
Look, sometimes you just can’t save the ship. So you concentrate on saving everyone aboard that you can. You keep calm, you count heads and you man the lifeboats. Eventually you have to admit that you’ve done everything you could have done to prevent the disaster and now your job is to survive and help others to survive until the crash part is over.
We (or someone better qualified, thank God) are going to have to sort out the details later.

Guys, it’s a purge (…as I think I’ve said a few times…)
I’ve been saying it for some time. This is their time to get rid of us. There are so few Catholics left who believe what the Church teaches that it shouldn’t really be that hard for them.
But make no mistake. They understand exactly the same thing that we do. The sides have lined up. There is no pretense at all now of trying to convert anyone. They know full well that the work they have done for the last 50 years in the Church to undermine and misinform, to dupe and deceive and lull to sleep as many as they can is now complete.

Ho hum… another plane presser, another “SHOCK!! HORROR!!!”
Pope’s on a plane! DOWN! Errybody GET DOWN!!!
Seriously, anyone, particularly any priest, “IN SHOCK!!!” and freaking out today are just going to get a smack upside the head from me and a stern talking-to. What wearies me most is not the pope; it’s the people still being surprised and outraged and horrified and shocked! shocked!
Enough. We’ve told you and told you and told you. If you didn’t listen it’s not our problem that you’re having a bad day now.

Internet’s dry; let’s take a break
I’ve run out of gigabites on my internet stick for this month, and there is a lot of work to do in the garden and some other stuff, so I won’t be posting for a bit.
Let’s take a break. It’s summer (or would be if it stopped raining for ten consecutive minutes) so we might do well to smell the roses or go to the beach or something.
I’m making elderflower wine and cordial this week.
