  Many people know about the proposed plan to rebuild the Basilica of Saint Benedict in Norcia in some kind of as-yet-unspecified chimeric style, a blending or “fusion between ancient and modern.”  This plan, however, is forcefully opposed by the people of Norcia themselves who only want the return of their basilica as it was before the quakes. These have formed a committee and are asking for the people of the world who love Norcia and St.

Well done everyone! Your response was amazing! What an incredible bunch of people you all are, really. I posted the post a couple of hours before the East Coast got up, and before nine o’clock had made it even as far as the Mid-West, the list had been filled, books ordered and shipped. Two hours. Incredible. The first ones appeared the very next day. Next batch arrived yesterday.

UPDATE: I need some help. Well, that was fast. I put the post up this afternoon, just before getting-up time on the East Coast of N. America. Started getting responses about two hours later. 45 minutes after that the list is complete. The innernet really is amazing! Thank you to everyone who responded! It’s good to know y’all are out there.   ~ I’ve been in touch with some sisters somewhere out there in NovusordoLand who are asking the right questions.

So, Roman Catholic Faithful has resurrected itself just in time for the EndoftheWorld party… “It became clear that the greater part of the post-conciliar Church had lost the Faith.” There is no doubt at all that this means we are going to soon be learning what has been kept secret for so long in Chicago. For some time, I’ve had an intuition that ChiTown is going to make Pittsburgh look like a Norman Rockwell painting of fluffy bunnies having a church picnic in the ’50s.

“Then I told him, ‘We’re looking into it…” Latest for the Remnant… Deflection: “Ideology” – what it is and isn’t “It’s all about the Culture Wars.” In the last couple of days we have seen responses from prominent churchmen of the Bergoglian clique, claiming that Vigano’s attempt to expose their misdeeds is based on “ideology”. On August 27th, we heard from the archdiocese of Newark, under Cardinal Joseph Tobin, who expressed his “shock, sadness and consternation” at the Vigano document, which he said, “cannot be understood as contributing to the healing of survivors of sexual abuse.

This isn’t exactly a family-friendly site, but I hesitated to post this. I will only link to the video it comes from here. If you’ve got a strong faith and a strong stomach, and a good reason to watch it – like you’re a journalist or blogger collecting data – I’d say go ahead. Otherwise, don’t. Honestly. I’ve always thought of my work as being a student of human evil – my own first.
